Schomburg Shop is a Black-owned bookstore and gift shop located in Harlem, New York, serving as the official retail partner of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The shop offers a carefully curated selection of books for all ages—spanning Black history, literature, children's stories, art, politics, and identity—alongside a wide range of culturally inspired gifts.


In keeping with the Schomburg Center’s mission, the shop uplifts Black voices and narratives, empowering customers to deepen their understanding of the African diaspora. Whether you're looking for a classic work, contemporary title, or thoughtful gift, Schomburg Shop is a cultural cornerstone for learning and celebration.
