Founded in 2004 by John and Pamela Gregory, the African American Male Wellness Agency (AAMWA) is a national nonprofit organization committed to reducing health disparities among Black men. Through free health screenings, educational programs, and community events, AAMWA empowers men to take control of their health and well-being.​


Their holistic approach addresses physical, mental, and financial health, as well as fatherhood and research initiatives. Signature programs include the annual Black Men's Wellness Day 5K Walk/Run, Real Men Real Talk mental health forums, and the UpLift Her initiative supporting Black women's health.​
